“I Just Don’t Want to Give Up” is a live home-studio recording that traces the emotional and sonic tension between fragility and perseverance. Produced and performed by Khushboo Jain, the piece was built entirely within VCV Rack, where she designed a custom additive synthesis patch from the ground up — layering oscillators, modulation paths, and subtle feedback loops to create an evolving harmonic field. Each tone unfolds organically, shaping a meditative narrative of endurance and renewal. The track was first realized when Khushboo was invited to perform at the inaugural edition of Noizfest, marking a pivotal moment in her exploration of sound as both resistance and release.

This release also marks Khushboo’s debut collaboration with Labyrinthine Crew — a record label founded by Oblium in 2009 and dedicated to promoting experimental music and abstract soundscapes. Known for its commitment to boundary-pushing artistry and sonic discovery, Labyrinthine Crew continues to serve as a home for musicians who dwell between the underground and the avant-garde.
